| Our friend Cody decided to celebrate his birthday in Nanjing this year so we went up there a few weekends ago. It was a quick trip but so much happened while we were there. We went to a local bar and were surrounded by people from every corner of the world and were also able to see the Nanjing Massacre Museum. There are so many disasters and catastrophes around the world that go unnoticed and sometimes only by chance do we find out about them. Traveling and living in other areas gives us such a different perspective and I feel, a respect for people everywhere. I am learning so much from your posts. Thank you for telling your stories along the way.They bring your world there to life for me. (I'm going to go now and read about the Nanjing Massacre.)
